QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE:

THE STRATEGIC PLAN CONTINUES

If you’re like most people, you don’t spend much time thinking about your water and sewer service.  As long as water comes our of the spigot when you turn it on or the commode flushes when you push the handle, what more is there to think about, right?

Well, your Board of Directors works very hard and invests a great deal of personal time taking care of the big things so you won’t have to worry about the little things.  We’ve implemented another part of our strategic plan that’s intended to find problems before they interrupt your daily activities.

The District has purchased a new software program, called the GIS program, that will allow us to consolidate repair histories and produce reports by physical location.  This information, when reviewed monthly, will now provide a clear and accurate reporting mechanism that will enable us to spot little problems before they develop into a crisis.

For example, if we see that the District operator has been to one location several times in a short period of time to repair a blocked sewer line, that’s our clue to investigate the problem more thoroughly.

The ability to find a small problem before it becomes a major one saves the District time and money.  And, it enables us to meet our only objective: providing the highest level of quality service to each resident within our District so that when you turn on your faucet, your water is there when you need it.
